Last week I was shopping at my local green grocer. I saw many interesting fruits and vegetables. Their shapes, colours and textures were very diverse and interesting. I decided to take photos of these amazing fruits and vegetables. I asked the shop keeper and she said it was okay to take some photos.
The photo I would like to write about is the photo of the Buddha Hand Lemons. The Buddha Hand Lemon is a weird shape. It is difficult to describe the shape. The best way to describe it is to compare it to human hands. That's why it has the name Buddha Hand. Although the shape of the Buddha Hand Lemon is similar to a gourd, it is different because one end has pointy 'fingers'. Some of the 'fingers' stick out, while other 'fingers' wrap inwards.
The texture of the fruit is also quite strange. Its skin is very bumpy and bulbous. This adds to the weird appearance of the Buddha Hand Lemon. The strange texture is another reason I wanted to take a photo of the fruit.
The colour of the Buddha Hand Lemon is very similar to a common lemon. In English we even name the colour of these fruits after the fruit itself; 'lemon'. The colour lemon is a shade of yellow. There is nothing very remarkable about the colour of the Buddha Hand Lemon. It is a vibrant and attractive colour.
This weekend I will buy one of these lemons. I want to explore the lemon and see what is under its skin. I want to try out a recipe on the Internet. The skin of the Buddha Lemon has a good flavour. I can't wait to try it!
